Cooking Suggestions

1. Crispy Fried Squid Rings

Ingredients:

  • 500g squid rings
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking oil

Steps:

  1. Thaw squid rings completely and pat dry.
  2. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Coat evenly with flour.
  4. Heat oil to medium-high heat and deep-fry for 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Serve with tartar sauce, chilli sauce, or lemon wedges.

2. Garlic Butter Squid Rings

Ingredients:

  • 500g squid rings
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley (optional)

Steps:

  1. Thaw and pat dry the squid rings.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a pan.
  3. Sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add squid rings and cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring frequently.
  5. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

3. Stir-Fried Squid with Vegetables

Ingredients:

  • 500g squid rings
  • Broccoli, carrots, and bell peppers
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

Steps:

  1. Stir-fry garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add vegetables and cook until slightly tender.
  3. Add squid rings and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Add oyster sauce and soy sauce. Mix well and serve with steamed rice.

Storage: Keep frozen at -18°C or below. Once thawed, do not refreeze. Consume immediately after opening for best quality.
