Quick Sautéed Garlic Prawns

Here's a simple and flavorful recipe using Frozen Raw Peeled Prawns that you can whip up in just 10 minutes!

Ingredients:

  • 250g Frozen Raw Peeled Prawns (thawed)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional, for heat)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh lemon juice (1/2 lemon)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Prawns: Thaw the prawns by placing them in a bowl of cold water for 10-15 minutes, or defrost them overnight in the fridge. Pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

  2. Sauté the Garlic: Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but be careful not to burn it.

  3. Cook the Prawns: Add the prawns to the pan, season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes if using. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the prawns turn pink and opaque.

  4. Finish the Dish: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the prawns and give everything a good toss.

  5. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately. This dish pairs well with pasta, rice, or a fresh salad.
