Baked Tilapia With Avocado /Chili Lime

Ingredients

for 2 servings

Tilapia

  • 1 lb tilapia fillet(455 g)
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice, about 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Cream Sauce

  • 1 avocado
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro(20 g), roughly chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice, about 1 lime
  • ¼ cup yogurt(60 g)
  1. Preheat oven to 400˚F (200˚C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the chili powder, cumin, cayenne, salt, pepper, and olive oil with the lime juice.
  3. Bake fish for 12 minutes in a preheated oven until edges begin to crisp and fish is moist and flaky.
  4. While fish is baking, prepare the cream sauce.
  5. In a blender, combine avocado, cilantro, salt, pepper, lime juice, and yogurt. Blend until mixture is smooth.
  6. Serve tilapia topped with avocado and freshly chopped cilantro.
